Summer Sidewalk Construction Projects

This summer many construction projects will be underway at IUPUI to improve learning, work and living environments. One project that will impact everyone is the sidewalk and paver repair project. Many locations across campus will undergo some kind of concrete repair or installation. Please be careful as you traverse the campus and pay attention to the detour routes that are provided. Work will begin at the end of June and continue through the end of July. The project is to be complete prior to the start of school. A complete list of the project areas is listed below:

1.Northeast corner of North Street and University Blvd.
2.Ramp along Wishard Blvd. north of Cancer Research Building (R4)
3.Middle Drive west and north side entry Nursing School
4.Hadley Drive (service drive that runs between Medical Research & Library (IB) and University Hospital)
5.Northwest corner of Barnhill Drive and Michigan Street
6.New York Street and Beauty Avenue ramps
7.Townhouses entry courtyard
8.Dental School, northeast corner of Hansen Ave. and Michigan St.
9.Dental School, south side along Vermont Street
10.Northwest corner of Vermont Street and Barnhill Drive.
11.Southeast Corner of Michigan Street and University Blvd.
12.University Place Hotel, north side of Michigan Street
13.Northwest corner of Michigan Street and University Blvd.
14.Various locations on the south side of Michigan Street between Cavanaugh Hall and the IT building
15.IT/Library courtyard
16.Blake Access Drive parking areas – BS/SPEA Service Drive parking
17.Blake Access ramps along New York Street
18.Science and Technology (SL) northeast entrance along Blackford Street
19.East entrance of Lecture Hall
20.South side of New York Street, north of Sports Complex Garage
